Merewether United Football Club rely on the support of local business to assist in the financing and running of the club. This enables us to provide the best possible chances & development for all teams.
The club operates on a tight budget, with registration and other fees covering only the basics. We actively seek, external funding to support club improvements, such as facility, equipment and uniform upgrades.
We have teams ranging from under 6’s right through to senior men’s and women’s teams as well as Zone Football League and actively seek sponsors to help support them.

Outlined below are some sponsorship opportunities currently available to suit all types of businesses. If there is something not listed which you would like to suggest please feel free to contact the club. All sponsorships Merewether United Football Club will provide a tax invoice and all funds are payable directly to the club via direct deposit or cheque.
Club Sponsorship
Club sponsorship is $1,500 per annum and along with the general advertisement and promotion you will also receive exposure via:
- Field signage on at Myamblah Cresent Oval
- Advertising & promotion on our website with a link to your website, as well as our Social Media.
- Your business logo on choice of junior team jersey or club training shirts.
Playing Shirt Sponsorship
We have various packages available for our playing strips with options for front of shirt, back of shirt and sleeve sponsorship. You may also wish to include a sign on our fence for an additional cost.All playing shirt sponsorships include screen printing of your logo, advertising on our website with a link to your website and promotion of your business in our newsletter and at our functions and presentations.
Playing shirt sponsors also have the opportunity to add fence signage:

Field Signage
Fence sign $200.00 + sign cost
The sponsor is responsible for the cost of the sign (you maintain ownership of the sign). Merewether Football Club can provide a supplier to quote you for the costs. As with the other sponsorship packages, it includes advertising on our website with a link to your website and promotion of your business in our newsletter and at our functions and presentations.
