Merewether United Football Club is a local community football club with a focus on nurturing young talent. Located in Merewether, New South Wales, teams from under 6 through to over 35’s, and recently an expansion into Zone League Football in 2024, compete in the Newcastle Football competition.

Volunteering

The club is always looking for new volunteers to assist with any tasks, big and small. There are some that need specialist expertise, like Club Treasurer and website guru, and there are weekly ‘jobs’ such as refereeing and line markings. There are plenty of areas we can use your help.
