Who Coaches MiniRoos?
Merewether United Football Club is a community club with NO paid staff.
MiniRoos games are dependent upon the involvement and commitment of families, whether it be as coach, manager, volunteer committee members or fundraisers.
Each year we hold an Organisation Day where each team will be asked to nominate a coach and a manager who will work together to ensure teams are informed, prepared and ready for every game day. The manager must also ensure that families meet their canteen and BBQ duty obligations.
If you are considering the role of coach, there are many resources available to help you including a very short (1.5 hours) Certificate Course to support you in your role.
IMPORTANT: all coaches and managers must have a working with children check completed and the number submitted to the secretary prior to the commencement of the first training session. Apply here.
